  1. Analyze the divisive role of slavery in early 19th century America through a film depicting the Amistad court case

    What has happened in the film so far?  Who are the main characters?  What is the main issue depicted in the film?

Homework:
  1. Chapter 10 Quiz Friday (adjusted for PSAT)
  2. 1st Research Paper due October 15
    1. Has your Annotated Bibliography been approved yet?  If not it needs to be BEFORE you submit your paper!
  3. Outside Reading Project due December 7
Don't forget that Wednesday is the PSAT and so there are many of you that I will not see.  We will be finishing the film and discussing it so if you are taking the PSAT make sure that you finish the film on your own and turn in the discussion sheet.  Take care and have a great day!
